Für unseren Kunden, ein internationales Unternehmen in Turgi, suchen wir einen Senior Engineer R&D (m/w/d). Diese Rolle bietet die Möglichkeit, in einem dynamischen Umfeld zu arbeiten.
Aufgaben
- Beitrag zur Softwareentwicklung für Mittelspannungsantriebe.
- Eigenständige Mitarbeit an R&D-Projekten mit wenig Aufsicht.
- Durchführung von Aufgaben in der Softwareentwicklung von der Anforderung bis zum Test.
Fähigkeiten
- Bachelor in Elektrotechnik, idealerweise mit Masterabschluss.
- Erfahrung in Forschung und Entwicklung im Bereich Elektrotechnik.
- Kenntnisse in C++; Python von Vorteil.

Your Responsibilities:
- This role requires a strong background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Opportunity to contribute to the company's success with software development for Medium Voltage Drives
- Work as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision
- Perform various tasks in the assigned area of software development, from gathering requirements to, building concepts, designing, implementing, integrating, and testing
- Understand and apply applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements, including architectural and design constraints
- Drive the achievement of assigned targets of quality, time, and scope, and raise and address risks
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a strong software background. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in research and development, preferably in a related industry within electrical engineering domain topics (communication protocols, protections, cooling systems, converter/machine control and models)
- Knowledgeable in best-practice software development methods (Agile/Scrum, Continuous Integration-Continuous Development, Test-Driven Development, etc.)
- Proficiency in C++; Python is a plus (for automation support)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
