The Integration Manager is responsible for leading and managing the integration process for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships. This role ensures smooth transitions, alignment of resources, and realization of deal value by developing and implementing integration plans that address the operational, cultural, and financial aspects of the transaction.
- Integration planning and execution.
- Cross-functional coordination and team leadership (Communication, Finance, HR, IT, legal, QHSE, Sales, Operations) to ensure alignment, accountability, smooth execution of integration tasks.
- Risk management and problem solving.
- Financial and performance tracking including cost synergies, revenue targets, and budget adherence.
- Change management and cultural alignment to facilitate employee engagement and smooth cultural integration across both organizations.
- Documentation and reporting on status, key decisions, and lessons learned to improve future M&A integrations.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&A integration, project management, or consulting, with demonstrated experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects. Broad leadership experience from both international corporations and SMEs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Skills and Competencies: strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strategic and analytical thinking, ability to handle multiple priorities, knowledge of change management principles.
- Tools: Familiarity with tools and software for project management, financial analysis, and reporting, experience tracking financial outcomes of M&A integration efforts.
- Language: business fluent in English and nice to have French, an advantage German.
