Job Description:

Overview of Role
Reporting to the Global IT Project Manager, the person will be responsible for implementing data analytic solutions using Microsoft Power BI, providing Power BI related guidance / trainings / support to end user, managing and monitoring Power BI workspaces. In addition, use Power app/automate to deliver digital solutions and support data governance tool Azure Purview.

Main Responsibilities

• Go-to person for any Power BI/Data analytic related queries, conduct Power BI end user trainings whenever required
• As part of Power BI support team, reinforce Power BI governance policy, responsible for creating workspace, managing user permissions, adjusting workspace settings.
• Gather and document user requirement, perform solution prototyping when needed, implement Power BI datasets/reports/dashboard to fulfill business need
• Document analytical processes and data sets for predictive and prescriptive analysis
• Automate fundamental data processing processes
• Manage and work closely with various stakeholders (e.g., end users, senior management, and external vendor), able to exceed stakeholder’s expectation
• Recommend ways to improve data quality, process improvement and understand business value relationships
• Translate advanced business analytics problems into technical approaches that yield actionable recommendations
• Implement and support data governance tool Azure Purview

Profile

The individual should have the following experience:

• 5 years of data/business analyst experience and 3 years of reporting
• Well-versed with Microsoft Power Platform, especially be SME in Power BI
• Hands-on experience in data governance tool like Azure Purview
• Excellent SQL skill
• Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Be proactive and have good work attitude
• Self-sufficient with good time management skills
• Able to effectively communicate complex technical information to a broad array of team members and stakeholders
