The Faculty of Political and Social Sciences and the Institute of Psychology is looking for a
Research Assistant in experimental psychology (30-40%)
to assist in preparing a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) funding application.
Presentation
We have a growing understanding of the link between emotions and feelings within the general population, but not within specific subgroups such as urban and rural dwellers, children, or artists.

Start : 01.06.2025
Duration : 4-5 months (to be decided)
Employment rate : 30-40% (to be decided)
Work location : Lausanne Dorigny
Your responsibilities
The person will help us to
- analyze the scientific literature, which is mostly in English, and
- prepare pilot data for this same funding application.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following skills :
- Bachelor (BSc) in psychology ;
- Master (MSc) in psychology (completed or in progress) ;
- Fluent English ;
- Basic understanding of empirical research methods and quantitative statistics. Interest in cognitive and affective processes, and visual perception ;
- Previous research experience and ease in scientific writing in English are a plus.
