- Durchführung einer Literaturrecherche zur Elektrolyse.
- Definition von Kriterien zur Bewertung der Probenunterschiede.
- Analyse des aktuellen WET-Elektropolierprozesses als Benchmark.
Fähigkeiten
- Abschluss in Maschinenbau und Englischkenntnisse auf B2-Niveau erforderlich.
- Kenntnisse in Materialwissenschaft und Oberflächenanalysetechniken.
- Fähigkeiten in Daten- und statistischer Analyse.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct a literature review and apply a scientific approach to demonstrate that the electropolishing impacts the surface without altering the microstructure of the material.
2. Define acceptance criteria and measurement methods to evaluate differences between samples. The surface analysis must be primarily conducted using a SEM, if necessary, alternative methods can be employed.
3. Analyze the current WET electropolishing process and use it as a Benchmark.
4. Participate in Design of Experiment (DoE) activities to define the condition limits (min-max) under which the surface maintains a consistent quality, comparable to the current WET process.
5. (Optional) Develop a method for surface analysis that can be easily implemented in industrial context.
YOUR BACKGROUND
· Bsc. or higher in Mechanical Engineering
· Italian mother languages and English level B2 are mandatory
· Technical skills: Material Science, surface analysis techniques and mechanical testing knowledge
· Analytical skills: data analysis, statistical analysis, critical thinking
· Soft skills: research, communication, collaboration skills, proficiency in English (speaking and writing)
