Trainee within Risk Capital
Responsibilities
- You dive into the fascinating world of risk modelling reinsurance business worldwide and meaningfully contribute to combining the art and scient of risk to protect societies
- You are part of an engaged and empowered team and will be working in a wonderful office space in Zurich
- You support the quarterly and year-end calculation of SCR and risk margin via running SCOR’s internal model and performing regular analyses and deep dives
- You contribute to presentation of key results to both technical and executive committees
Qualifications
- Above average University Degree (Master, PhD) in Actuarial Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or similar discipline
- Proficiency with MS Excel and good knowledge through previous experience with statistical tools and programming languages (preferably Python)
- Good conceptual and analytical capabilities plus being able to approach tasks consistently, goal-oriented and independently
- Excellent communication skills and command in English (fluency in either French or German is a plus)
- Global mind-set, team player attitude and appetite for continuous learning and achievements in an international context
