Join Our Team as a Co-Educator at Little Ibex in Wallisellen! (50% or negotiable )

Who We Are: At Little Ibex, part of the International School of Zurich North, we recently launched a daycare center on an exciting journey of growth and expansion. Our mixed-age group ranges from 3 months to 3 years, and we also have an engaging Kindergarten, Primary & Secondary School on campus. We’re committed to creating an environment where children, parents, and staff all feel valued and inspired every day.

Your Role:
As a Co-Educator, you’ll be an essential part of our team, bringing joy, creativity, and structure to our young learners. Starting immediately (or as arranged), your main tasks will include:

• Guiding new children through their early days with warmth and patience
• Providing age-appropriate care and fostering a supportive, nurturing environment
• Planning and leading creative, educational activities and outings
• Helping organize daily routines and contributing to a rich, pedagogical approach
• Documenting children’s experiences in their adventure portfolios
• Communicating openly with parents and planning productive parent meetings
• Mentoring interns and learners, following our internal guidelines

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• A completed diploma as a FABE, Educator, Ausbildung in KITA or relevant socio-pedagogical studies
• Joyful energy and enthusiasm in working with children, contributing fresh ideas
• Team spirit and open communication skills
• Appreciation, empathy, and a deep commitment to fostering a positive environment
• Fluent in German (spoken and written); Excellen English skills are a plus, as we are an English-speaking school

Wer wir sind: Little Ibex ist Teil der International School Zurich North und eine erst kürzlich eröffnete Kindertagesstätte (gerade einmal 6 Monate alt!), die sich auf einer spannenden Reise des Wachstums und der Expansion befindet. In unserer altersgemischten Gruppe betreuen wir Kinder von 3 Monaten bis 3 Jahren. Wir befinden uns im gleichen Schulgebäude, wie der Kindergarten und die Gesamtschule. Wir sind bestrebt, eine Umgebung zu schaffen, in der sich Kinder, Eltern und Mitarbeiter jeden Tag wertgeschätzt und inspiriert fühlen.

Ihre Rolle:
Als Miterzieherin sind Sie ein wesentlicher Bestandteil unseres Teams und bringen Freude, Kreativität und Struktur in den Alltag der Kindergruppe. Ab sofort (oder nach Absprache) gehören zu Ihren Hauptaufgaben:

• Begleitung und Eingewöhnung neuer Kinder durch ihre ersten Tage mit Wärme und Geduld
• Altersgerechte Betreuung und Förderung einer unterstützenden, fürsorglichen Umgebung
• Planung und Leitung kreativer, pädagogischer Aktivitäten und Ausflüge
• Unterstützung bei der Organisation des Tagesablaufs, Einführung täglicher Rituale und Planung saisonaler Aktivitäten
• Dokumentation der Erfahrungen der Kinder in ihren Abenteuer-Portfolios
• Offene Kommunikation mit den Eltern und Planung und Durchführung von Elterngesprächen
• Betreuung von Praktikanten und Lernenden gemäss unseren internen Richtlinien

Was Sie zu einer guten Besetzung macht:

• Ein abgeschlossenes Zertifikat als FABE EFZ, staatlich anerkannte Erzieherin oder gleichwertige, anerkannte Ausbildung
• Freudige Energie und Begeisterung bei der Arbeit mit Kindern, Einbringen frischer Ideen
• Teamgeist und offene Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
• Wertschätzung, Empathie und ein grosses Engagement für die Förderung eines positiven Umfelds
• Fließende Deutschkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift); gute Englischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil, da wir eine englischsprachige Schule sind
