The Bachem Group is investing in a new site in Sisslerfeld in Northwestern Switzerland. This step is part of the long-term strategy to expand production capacity by the end of the decade. The new production site will play a central role in achieving these goals.
The initiation phase of the project offers you unique opportunities to shape the future organization. To strengthen our team in the Global Engineering department, we are looking for a committed Specialist Site Infrastructure and Enabling (f/m/d), 100%.
In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of various infrastructure works on a new site. The new site needs to be developed in terms of streets, railway, underground tunnel systems for transportation and media, underground retention systems etc. The development of the site with media supply e.g. power, steam and water is also part of the scope of infrastructure works. This role ensures that all external partners and suppliers are efficiently and effectively integrated into the project to achieve the project objectives.
Your tasks:
- Development and implementation of infrastructure plans for our new production site
- Coordination and management of external partners and suppliers
- Ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Monitoring the quality and performance of external services and deliveries
- Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders
- Supporting the negotiation and management of contracts with external partners
- Identifying and resolving issues that may affect the progress of external activities
- Working with internal teams to ensure that external activities are seamlessly integrated into the overall project
- Preparing reports and presentations for management
Your profile:
- Degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a technical related field
- Several years of experience in coordinating and managing infrastructure and enabling activities in large projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of project management software and tools
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Solution-oriented with a holistic understanding of infrastructural dependencies
- High resilience and flexibility
- High tolerance for ambiguity and capability to manage uncertainty while maintaining effective decision-making.
- Fluency in German and English
