AUFGABENBESCHREIBUNG
- Operational and Tactical Procurement Activities
- Supporting the effective procurement of products and services in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintaining master data: materials, suppliers, and workflows
- Supporting the Procurement organization to ensure that all relevant documentation is complete and
- available in SAP (for example RFP, scoring tools and results, Signature Sheets, Contracts, SoWs)
- Providing operational procurement support as assigned
- Working with team members and business partners to mitigate any Procurement and/or business issues and
- help achieve agreed business goals
- Executing operational procurement activities in line with a responsible Procurement approach while using
- tools, processes, policy setting, and enforcement in alignment with DOP business processes
- Contributing that established targets and metrics on customer service are delivered. Track and monitor these
- metrics where required, and escalate issues as they arise
- Supporting the optimization of processes to increase quality and efficiency standards
- Identification of new opportunities to increase efficiency
- Work closely and in a consulting manner with operational colleagues across all sides and affiliates
- Relevant university business degree
- 5+ years' experience in operational/tactical Procurement processes
- Relevant SAP experience
- Experience with enterprise systems and procure to-pay tools and eSourcing tools; skilled in the Google tool suite
- Life science experience is desirable
- Experience from working in a multicultural, virtual setting
- Fluent in English written and verbal, additional languages are a further advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain networks
- Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders both verbally and in writing
- Self-driven personality with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to develop innovative ideas
