Are you passionate about playing an active role in creating, updating and improving network documentation in the dynamic field of telecommunications and with state-of-the-art tools? We are looking for a detail-oriented Network Documentation Specialist to be a vital part of our innovative journey. In this role, you will document our telecommunication network and services in the GUI based resource databases, manage network resources such as IP addresses, participate in defining and creating new products, and continuously improve and evolve our network resource management and network documentation. Tasks:
- Execute work orders by creating network infrastructure, B2B, and other network services using appropriate tools
- Ensure the high quality of network documentation deliveries to stakeholders
- Manage and ensure the availability of technical network resources (e.g., IP addresses, VLAN numbers, etc.) within the network documentation team's responsibility
- Support Network Engineering departments regarding all documentation topics
- Create or update relevant processes, drive digitalization, and implement other improvements in the network documentation domain
- Support Network and B2B Units in optimizing existing processes and defining new guidelines relevant to network documentation
- Support various Network projects and represent the interests of the Network Documentation team regarding any documentation topics
Requirements:
- HF or FH degree (in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or computer science)
- Completed technical vocational training with at least 3 years of experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with optical transmission technologies (xWDM)
- Good technical understanding of telecommunication networks, IP/MPLS, and optical transmission technology, with the ability to comprehend complex interrelationships
- Experience working with Cramer and/or Netcracker
- Knowledge of or experience in IP/MPLS and xWDM management systems
- Proficiency in German and English (business fluent)
