Intern - Investor Relation Real Estate

Your team

Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) is a leading alternative investment specialist with expertise in hedge funds, private equity, and global real estate. The Geneva- and London-based team constructs, manages, and advises on portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients. The Group has strong development ambitions for PAA in the coming years, notably to expand its product offering to include additional asset classes and to further develop its institutional client base.

In view of these developments, we are looking to hire a talented Investor Relations Intern for our Multi Manager Real Estate and Co-Investment team, based in Geneva. This internship will last for six months and will focus on supporting the marketing and distribution of private real estate investment solutions, as well as client servicing.
 

Your role

• Assisting in the fundraising efforts for the Multi Manager Real Estate (MMRE) business and contributing to the development of business strategy in the following areas.


• Servicing private and institutional clients invested in private real estate.


• Assisting in the organisation of the launch and promotion of new products.


• Providing thorough monitoring of client relationships and building relevant reporting and analysis.


• Leading the production of reporting documents.


• Preparing a range of marketing documents for both internal and external clients.


• Contributing to the design and management of projects (data collection, market research, problem-solving, etc.).

Your profile

• Currently pursuing a University degree in Finance or Economics (or a qualification deemed equivalent).


• Previous experience in an investor relations department, acquired through internships or jobs with an asset manager or real estate fund, is a plus.


• Proven experience creating marketing presentations and pitchbooks for complex financial products.


• Fluency in French and English; any other language is an asset.


• Strong problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude.


• Excellent people and communication skills.


• Driven, with a desire to achieve results and a willingness to help others attain their goals.


• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.

In addition, you will have a proactive attitude towards your work, a desire to learn, as well as a proven interest in real estate investing. You will also be responsible, highly motivated, and eager to become part of a young, dynamic, and international team.
