Key Responsibilities
- Program Support: Ensure the successful execution of the Roche-BARDA partnership in full compliance with contractual obligations.
- Meeting Participation: Work closely with Roche project teams to identify BARDA-relevant activities and support reporting requirements, including OLAW, FWA, and cost review.
- Project Plan Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive project plan covering all program-related activities.
- Document Management: Coordinate the creation, maintenance, and submission of key program documents to BARDA, including study plans, protocols, reports, and CRO quotes, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Financial Management: Track study costs within the BARDA scope, coordinate cost reviews, and collaborate with Roche's finance team to prepare monthly financial reports.
- Reporting: Support the project team in preparing monthly BARDA technical reports and track progress against contract deliverables.
- Project Planning: Assist in assembling project plans and budgets for new initiatives.
- Risk & Issue Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues early, and support the development of mitigation strategies.
- Communication Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure efficient handling of partnership information with appropriate confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a scientific or healthcare-related field)
- Strong understanding of pre-clinical drug development
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and accountable, meeting US government standards
- Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong team collaboration and customer service mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infectious diseases
- Experience managing government-funded projects
- Knowledge of public-private partnerships or government collaborations
- Familiarity with pre-clinical study documentation and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of contractual obligations and compliance
