Are you about to complete your bachelor's or master's degree and would you like to take on meaningful work and real responsibility in an integrative work environment?
With the 18-month Zurich Trainee Program, Zurich offers you a career start in which your strengths are encouraged and you can grow personally. The program gives you an insight into the world of insurance and reinsurance and forward-looking projects. After starting in September, several months follow in one of departments of Group Customer Office You will then have the opportunity to get to know our core business in various assignments and take on responsibility for activities customer strategy activities. You not only get to know diverse teams, but also the needs of our customers. You bring this experience to your third assignment and participate in strategic projects. In the final months of the program, you will return to your target function with newly acquired skills in order to successfully complete the trainee program and subsequently establish yourself as a long-term talent in the target area.
Group Customer Office (GCO) consists of a diverse team of Marketing, Customer Experience, Strategy, Research and Data Analytics professionals who drive the development and oversee the implementation of Zurich’s Customer Strategy across the group.
In the Group Customer Office, you will rotate through various teams within the function, gaining valuable experience in key areas such as:Customer Experience (design thinking, CX design, innovation), Brand Marketing (campaigns, social media, brand governance), Data Analytics, Customer Insights, as well as Project Management and Operations. By working in these diverse areas, you will acquire a well-rounded understanding of the core activities of our function, and of the Group's Customer Strategy.

What you will do

You will gain insights into how Zurich’s customer-centric approach drives business growth

Understand the role of the Brand in a global and diverse organization, its governance and application accross regions.

Learn about Customer Experience and its contribution to customer satisfaction and building customer loyalty

Get hands-on with projects and understand how project management activities are run accross the Group Customer Office, obtaining insights into stakeholder management, budget management, tracking and reporting.

Learn about Customer KPIs and their strategic role in driving change within an organization.

Take part in operational and team activities of the function, as part of a Group function.
What you bring

Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in marketing, customer experience, data analytics or business management.

Fluency in English and German (other languages are an advantage)

Willingness to learn the insurance business from scratch

High level of self-motivation and curiosity to familiarize oneself with new topics

Can-do mentality as well as structured and networked thinking

Good communication-, project and stakeholder management skills

Aspiration to work in an international environment

Interest in customer topics, with a natural curiosity for brand marketing, customer experience, and marketing trends.

Digitally savvy and being comfortable using digital tools and platforms

Continuous learning mentality with eagerness to learn and staying up-to-date on the latest financial and technological trends
