Role Summary:
To generate demand on products by training the ophthalmologists and opticians according to the company vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly visits the hospitals, optics and all related authorities in the region (50% of visit covers optics 50% of visit covers all related authorities and ECPs)
- Creates and maintains long term relations with decision makers and opticians the region.
- Persuades the optics and other decision makers to recommend and choose the products as first choice in assigned product group.
- With his/her manager, regularly organizes seminars, opticians and other decision makers to demonstrate the products and give training about business development.
- Shares insights with marketing department to guide informational catalogues and brochures to be distributed among the optics ECPs and decision makers.
- Introduces and creates awareness of newly launched products among opticians and other authorities.
- Makes the necessary preparations of documents, samples and the booth for upcoming congresses, attends the congresses in order to promote the products.
- Informs manager of developments, complaints, and product satisfaction.
- Presents reports to manager about sales, market and competitor products in determined frequency and format by being in contact with other account managers and people who give important decisions in determined frequencies.
- Working cooperatively with MAM in order to build link between optics and ECPs to cover needs and also cooperate with finance department to reach the best sale and profit results.
- Transmits product updates come from the field to the other account managers, key account manager and area sales managers.
- Acting as a key contact on the field regarding the customer complaints (if any) and reporting them to the related departments
- Following-up new commercial issues, activities and pricing in the market
- Responsible to give trainings about product specifications to optic store sales assistants, opticians and if he /she has covered ECPs.
