Commercial Project Manager

Great! Because we are looking for a Project Manager to join the Bavarian Nordic Commercial team to be a core member of multiple strategic product teams and drive the life cycle plans for the product portfolio to maximize efficiency, portfolio value and patient benefit.

• Manage product teams, in close collaboration with the respective team leader, providing structure, organization, oversight, planning, and communication

• Drive update, review, implementation, and execution of product plans, and mitigation of project risks, framing and assessing options, identifying inflection points and critical factors

• Lead/support the development of business cases to evaluate plans and sub-projects for prioritization and approval

• Keep teams on track to deliver short-, mid-, and long-term activities to achieve team objectives and drive key project meetings & workshops, and documentation

• Leverage market expertise of the strategic product team to accelerate high quality decisions, lead effective ways of working, and catalyze change

• Support decision-making and governance, reporting, and proactively maintaining key project information to support portfolio overview and decisions

• Support SteerCo meetings execution and preparation of relevant material such as plans consolidation, status updates, recommendations, etc.

• Master´s degree in a life science subject, e.g. Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry. MBA is a plus

• +8 years of relevant work experience in similar roles in a pharma/biotech enterprise

• Experience in working cross-functionally and managing multiple mid-senior level stakeholders in a complex environment

• Ability to lead key functions (RA, Commercial, MSAT, Artwork, CSPV, Clinical, QA) in the execution of impactful and strategic projects

• Expertise in using project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet) and knowledge of methodologies & approaches to drive the team in the development and execution of product plans, effectively and efficiently

• Very good command of written and spoken English and compelling presentation skills

• Multitasking and ability to work in a multicultural environment and deliver results

• Flexible, structured, and highly analytical personality with a pragmatic approach and a positive attitude
