To strengthen our Media team, we are looking for a motivated and committed Media Coordinator 50% (m/w/d) in Basel as of right away.
Your Tasks
- You develop and deliver detailed media briefs to external agencies, outlining campaign goals, target audiences, and key deliverables.
- You monitor and track media spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- You analyze campaign performance metrics and prepare reports to evaluate ROI and media effectiveness alongside the agencies.
- You recommend optimizations based on performance data to enhance campaign efficiency.
- You collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, creative) and external stakeholders (e.g., media agencies) to align on strategies and ensure consistent messaging.
- You stay updated on media trends, platforms, and innovations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- You conduct competitive analyses to inform media planning and strategic decision-making.
- You take full ownership of the media budget, ensuring spending aligns with targets set by management.
- You review campaign results and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
- You work closely with multifunctional partners, ensuring coordination and alignment among key stakeholders.
- You take personal accountability for delivering all briefings and projects on time and within agreed budgets.
- You drive the improvement of media KPIs by maximizing campaign reach within the given budget.
- You ensure full utilization of the allocated budget for each initiative within a +/-1% margin.
your profile
- You have a marketing diploma or have completed an apprenticeship program.
- You have at least three years of experience in a marketing role or as a project leader.
- You possess strong organizational and project management abilities.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are skilled in budgeting and financial management.
- You have strong analytical skills to review results and drive continuous improvement.
- You effectively manage timelines and escalate issues quickly when barriers arise.
- You can adapt to new contexts, work under time pressure, and balance multiple priorities.
- You excel in collaboration and teamwork.
- You have a passion for retail and/or consumer goods.
- You are fluent in English and French or German
