As an assistant in Audit & Assurance, you will work on audits of financial and non-financial reports for diverse organisations fostering trust and transparency. Through your work, you protect the public interest and build trust in business by delivering leading audit & assurance services, while promoting a culture that empowers individuals to thrive.
In this role, you will work independently, yet collaborating with your team and benefiting from the expert advice of experienced colleagues and industry experts. Your active involvement is essential, as you contribute to shaping our services and advancing your own career.
What to Expect:
- You will gain insight into the operations of the insurance industry and uncover the challenges it faces
- From day one, you will be in direct contact with our clients, making significant contributions to our audits of financial and non-financial reporting as well as our assurance projects.
- You will work in a hybrid working model, which includes working form the client site, the Deloitte offices or from home.
- The daily challenges make every day unique and allow you to develop a deeper understanding of risks, processes, and strategies and gradually become a sought-after expert step by step.
- You will follow a clear, long-term career path and receive first-class training for your professional development, including support to qualify as Swiss certified public accountant (Swiss CPA). ( https://www.expertsuisse.ch/ausbildung )
Who we are looking for
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in economics (specialising in accounting, finance or controlling would be advantageous) and you have previous internship experience
- You must be motivated to pursue the further education path to become a Swiss CPA.
- You possess excellent competencies in accounting and data analytics and are interested in understanding the world of insurance companies
- You bring a positive, results-oriented attitude, along with a willingness to take responsibility and find tailored solutions for our clients.
- You are fluent in English and German, with proficiency in French being a plus
