Your mission
Preparation and Planning
- Review raw material samples, drawings, and instructions to fully understand product specifications.
- Plan the sequence of operations required for each job to ensure efficiency and precision.
- Take measurements and accurately mark materials for cutting, shaping, or assembling.£
Machine Operation and Part Manufacturing
- Select and operate the appropriate tools and machinery for each task.
- Manufacture and adapt parts to meet unique design and quality standards.
Quality Control
- Monitor materials throughout the machining process, ensuring they meet all specifications.
- Identify and correct any defects to maintain high-quality standards.
Maintenance
- Coordinate and conduct routine machine maintenance and ensure it is in optimal working condition.
Your profile
- Proven experience as a machinist in a high-precision environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or apprenticeship is preferred.
- Proficiency in using high-precision tools (e.g., calipers, compasses) for exact measurements.
- Familiarity with semi-automated, and automated machines (e.g., mills, planers, circular saws).
- Understanding of wood-related materials and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and manuals.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
