About the role:
Join Takeda as an Associate Director, HCP Marketing (Sleep Disorders) where you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and refining unbranded and branded Health Care Provider (HCP) marketing materials preparing for a best-in-class launch. The Associate Director will develop and execute strategic marketing plans, conduct market analysis and contribute to the US launch readiness by leveraging data and insights to inform the decision-making process, ensuring that our strategies are rooted in a deep understanding of HCPs needs and behaviors. As part of the Sleep Disorders Brand Team, you will accomplish this through collaboration and strategic discussion with the end goal always being to win for patients.
How you will contribute:

Act as day-to-day lead in the development of all unbranded and branded HCP core messages, creative campaigns, and asset pull-through to inspire desired HCP behavior change at launch while ensuring alignment with broader Sleep Disorders franchise's strategic priorities

Develop strong working partnerships with cross-functional team (i.e. medical, A+I, market access, advocacy, patient services, communications, legal, regulatory, compliance, IT, PRT, etc.) and external agencies

Partner closely with Analytics & Insights to distill insights, validate business opportunities, inform segmentation, channel mix preferences, and targeting of HCPs

Proactively recognize industry/competitive trends to identify brand growth opportunities and identify industry and internal best practices to build organizational capability

Manage multiple agencies from strategic brief ideation through to delivery, holding them accountable to Takeda USBU policies, standards, timelines and budgets

Collaborate closely with HCP Marketing peers to realize marketing synergies across KOL engagement, peer to peer, conference activities, and omnichannel experience

Partner with Consumer Marketing peers and other relevant functions to improve the journey for patients

May facilitate Brand Planning process, leading cross-functional Team through key Brand Planning milestones.

Oversee the direction and deliverables of multiple priorities ensuring internal stakeholder alignment, across agency partners, and cross functional partners
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
8+ years’ experience with increasing responsibilities in marketing, sales or related function, with at least 4 years of dedicated experience in marketing.

2+ years working on a pharmaceutical marketing team

Demonstrated ability to positively influence coworkers toward common goals, foster collaboration, and enable teamwork; ability to help set priorities, develop roles and responsibilities, and manage external partners

Ability to mentor junior team members, collaborate effectively, and positively influence decisions
-
Deep understanding of the brand/franchise, the pharmaceutical industry, and how to effectively engage HCPs; ability to make sound business decisions by having a strong understanding about business, finance and risks/benefits of decisions

Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas to internal colleagues and external partners

Broad-based HCP Marketing knowledge from non-personal (e.g., designing/running a CRM program), peer to peer, field sales (e.g., managing deployment of an assets)

Capable of leveraging data and analytics to distill insights and drive data-based decision making
Preferred:

MBA or MSc/PhD

Experience working on a product launch

Experience in Sleep Disorders, Neurology, Pulmonology or Rare therapeutic area

U.S. Base Salary Range:
149,100.00 - 234,300.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
