Position Summary
In a structured and dynamic multinational Pharma Biotech Company in constant growth, the FP&A and Business Partner provides business support and financial leadership to the Italian business in all planning, budgeting and forecasting process. Reporting directly to the Finance Director with no direct reports, ensures accurate analysis and understanding of actual business performance in the revenue and operating expense, meets forecasting accuracy targets and provide support to the organization with business cases, forecasting scenarios and long range plan activities.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead forecasting and planning cycles supporting FD and business units to produce Long range planning, annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly forecasts and daily projections.
- Meet month-end and year-end submission and reporting deadlines and ensure high quality comments of financial figures, with analysis on the variance between actual and plan/forecast/prior year.
- Drive accurate performance analysis and forecasting, analyze trends, implement forecasting models that support business in performance understanding, produce accurate consolidation and reporting.
- Cooperate with FD and BUs to identify risks and opportunities in revenues performance
- Develop ad hoc scenarios and business cases with multiple variables
- Act as reliable business partner to support the Therapeutic Areas in developing business growth proposals with strong investments controls
- Be accountable and act as main point of contact for interactions with International Controllers and FP&A for analysis and reporting.
- Proactively contribute to business meetings and projects: brand teams, launch readiness, with performance analyses and reporting.
- Ensure regular reporting to the local and international business management through information sharing, dashboards, and business review presentations.
Qualifications
- A university Business Economics degree
- 5-7 years business controller/partner experience
- Fluent Italian and English required
- Excellent Computer Skills, Office with advanced Excel and PowerPoint expertise, SAP, common reporting and BI tools
- Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred
- Previous experience in Audit firm is a plus.
