A total of around 120 people work at the headquarters in Muttenz near Basel and the subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai and Mumbai. To support our sales team at our headquarters in Muttenz/BL we are looking for an Proposal Engineer
Main tasks

Careful study of customer's inquiries to allow submission of quotations within set deadlines

Elaboration of technical concepts and solutions

Process design of the plant and its main components

Obtaining and checking quotations from suppliers

Preparation of cost calculations

Preparation of complete offers, including technical specifications and commercial terms and conditions

Technical discussions with our international customers

Representation of our company in meetings and video conferences

Your profile

Graduate Engineer in Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or comparable education with focus in plant construction and process engineering

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in similar position in an international environment

Customer-oriented with a solution-oriented attitude

High resilience, flexibility and commitment

Structured work style

Business fluent in English (written/oral), further language skills are an advantage

Good knowledge of common MS Office application including Excel
