THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Plan and implement testing (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, or performance tests) for new and existing functionality.
- Review test automation code written by other team members and supervise coding standards.
- Serve as a technical expert on software testing with automation framework and lead other testers.
- Define and champion quality and testing best practices among agile product teams.
- Work closely with agile product teams to design testing strategies and integrate testing into the development process.
- Help define and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in test pipeline maintenance and ensure pipeline failures are prioritized properly.
- Establish and implement the FIFA Software Development Policies (FSDP) across FIFA products.
- Guide and support agile product teams to ensure adherence to the FSDP.
- Responsible for the quality and technical approach the agile product teams took for FIFA products.
- Responsible for the strategic direction and coordination of software development at FIFA regarding Testing.
- Continuously report to management on product stability and quality.
- Monitor agile product teams' performance and identify and mitigate risks with appropriate measures.
- Promote collaboration and coordinate activities for software development across all competence centers: Development, Testing, UX/UI and DevOps.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- 5+ years of quality assurance testing experience.
- Experience designing and implementing test plans.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining testing builds within CI chains .
- Experience with testing frameworks.
- Experience with application performance monitoring and observability tools.
- Collaboration skills and ability to work on a team.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify isolate and document defects.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong knowledge of agile practices and experience with agile planning tools (e.g. Azure DevOps).
- University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification (Foundation level or higher).
- Languages: C#, Java, Angular.
- Tools: Visual Studio, GIT .
- Databases: SQL Server .
- Testing frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, NUnit, xUnit.
- Continuous Integration: Azure DevOps
- Effective handling of multiple projects or tasks at the same time.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Strategic thinking, ability to see the big picture and innovate.
- Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with people at all organizational levels · Solution oriented.
- Sense of Responsibility.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in any other language (F / ES / GER) is an asset.
