In the position of IT Audit Manager, you will work alongside leading entities in the banking and insurance sectors and play a key role in conducting audits and advising our clients on Technology Risk related matters.
Your contribution to KPMG
- Act as Engagement Manager on external/internal IT audits and risk advisory projects covering banking/insurance system landscapes, IT supported business processes, analytics, and technology innovation.
- Develop and execute comprehensive IT audit plans and strategies in accordance with IT audit standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and supervise Global IT audit engagements, including planning, testing, and reporting phases.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls in addressing risks related to information systems, technology infrastructure, and data integrity.
- Identify and communicate IT audit findings to senior management and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain Global relationships and actively seek out the Swiss and Global network's experts to address client needs.
- Drive initiatives that promote cross-functional communication, teamwork, and information sharing.
- Generate new business through proactive relationship building and solution development.
- Stay abreast of emerging IT trends, risks, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's IT environment.
- Mentor and develop junior IT audit staff.
This is what makes you successful
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly preferred.
- More than five years of professional experience in a Big4 company and/or in the performance of IT audits and risk advisory of financial service clients.
- Proven record in the management of Global client engagements in the IT assurance / risk advisory context.
- Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies and frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)
