- Entwickle neue Funktionen für den xrdp-Remote-Desktop-Server.
- Arbeite eng mit erfahrenen Ingenieuren und lerne Best Practices.
- Trage aktiv zu Open-Source-Projekten bei und erweitere dein Wissen.
Fähigkeiten
- Du bist Student:in mit Kenntnissen in C-Programmierung und Englisch.
- Programmierkenntnisse in C sind erforderlich.

Your tasks
Are you interested in software development and contributing to open-source projects? Do you want hands-on experience writing production ready code to improve the operation of scientific instruments?
We are looking for a Summer Student to join our team ( https://www.psi.ch/en/awi ) and help improve the feature set of the remote desktop server we use: xrdp ( https://www.xrdp.org/ ).
Your tasks will be:
- Develop new and improve features for xrdp and potentially contribute to the upstream xrdp codebase
- Work closely with experienced engineers and learn real world IT best practices
- Learn to contribute to open-source projects
Your profile
- Everyone who is proficient in writing code in C
- You have a good working knowledge of English
