We are seeking an experienced content editor with a strong background in reviewing, editing, and adapting content for various formats. The ideal candidate will have expertise in refining content to ensure clarity and consistency.
Job description:
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Edit, rewrite, and adjust content from the current BIS website to align with the structure and templates of the new website.
- Ensure the use of best web practices and the latest usability standards.
- Create metadata for effective recommendations, email alerts, search functions, and RSS feeds.
- Migrate content from the existing Content Management System (CMS) to the new solution.
- Collaborate with the Digital Communications and Content team and the various business areas, especially with the webmasters involved in the migration process.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve content for the new website.
- Track the progress of content migration.
Requirements:
Must haves:
- Bachelor's degree in applied communications, English, Journalism, Technical writing, Marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years' work experience in web-based communications in a multi-channel environment. Proven experience as a content editor, copywriter, or similar role, preferably in a banking.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing.
- Proficiency in using content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office).
