Network Operations Center (NOC) Team Lead & Engineer

As a NOC Team Lead & Engineer, you will

• Lead and work hands-on with a team of engineers to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise mobile and IPX network operations
• Manage Cisco ASR, Nexus, Arista switches, Fortinet firewalls, and IP networking (BGP, MPLS, OSPF, IPSec, VPNs)
• Oversee IPX, roaming, signaling (M2PA, M3UA), STP, DRA, DRF, and VAS platforms
• Ensure network security, performance, and high availability across multiple sites
• Use Zabbix and other monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain network stability and security
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on network operations or engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong background in mobile networks, IPX and roaming
• Expertise in routing, switching, security and signalling protocols
• Experience managing high-performance, carrier-grade networks
• Fluent in English (German is a plus), EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss working permit
