Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled Automation Engineer(F/M/X) with a strong background in industrial automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation hardware design, wiring, maintenance, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
🔥 Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation systems for new industrial products.
- Prepare prototypes and provide testing support and documentation.
- Collaborate with international multi-disciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative products.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external engineering resources and suppliers.
- Perform prototype tests at customers’ facilities and ensure successful implementation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to automation.
- Assist in the assembly and mechanical integration of machines, ensuring operational efficiency.
🎯 Your Profile:
- You have a Technical Degree (HF/MEng/BEng) in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation, or a similar field.
- You possess at least 5 years of experience in automation hardware design and maintenance, including component selection and BOM management.
- You have hands-on experience with wiring, and testing prototypes.
- You are familiar with safety standards for automation systems.
- You have programming skills in Python, C++, and PLC.
- You have experience with Automated Mobile Robots (AMRs) or similar automated systems.
- You are a technical professional with strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
