Product and Quality Assurance Engineer (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:
- Participation of continuous improvement of our Quality Management System
- Assess, monitor, and improve product quality throughout the requirements, design, development, and manufacturing phases of space electronics projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, government regulations, and customer specific requirements for space electronics projects
- Plan and carry out internal and external audits
- All Product Assurance tasks required by our customers (incl. participation for meeting)
- Supporting of our engineering team for:
- Selection of materials and processes (incl. manufacturing process)
- Selection of electronic components
- Dependability analyses
- Management of the process for non-conformances
- Trainings especially for the behavior in our cleanrooms and ESD areas
- Carry out of incoming inspections and other inspections during integration, testing and final acceptance (KIP / MIP)
- Review of test reports and design documents with respect to quality requirements
- Composition of the required acceptance documentation (EIDP)
What you bring to the table:
- Master degree in electronic engineering or physics
- Several years of experience in quality management, ideally in space industry. Additional training as auditor and/or certified ESA inspector is an advantage
- Basical understanding of electronic circuits
- Quick comprehension and analytical thinking with independent working style
- Ability to find fast and target-oriented solutions
- Very good knowledge of English required. Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus
