Senn Chemicals AG is a privately owned company with headquarter and production in Dielsdorf (canton Zurich, Switzerland). As a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), Senn Chemicals manufactures amino acid derivatives and peptides worldwide for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries on behalf of its customers. The company maintains a process-oriented management system according to ISO 9001: 2015 and a GMP approval for the production of active ingredients, granted by Swissmedic.
To strengthen our Project Management Organization, we are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager (a) 100%.
Our Project Management Office is responsible for managing complex customer projects on behalf of our international customers. In addition to active customer support, our Project Manager coordinates internal processes from request for proposals, through process development to the shipment of the products.

As a Project Manager you will
- Lead complex, interdisciplinary projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including KPIs, using internationally recognized project management methodologies.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the primary interface between international customers and internal departments, managing projects from Request for Proposals (RfPs) to final delivery.
- Present project status and critical issues to the management team in regular updates.
- Ensure project execution within agreed scope, timeline, and budget, maintaining timely documentation of progress.
- Evaluate new customer projects, collaborating with Business Development and internal stakeholders to assess feasibility, resource needs, costs, and potential investments.
- Represent the company at international exhibitions and industry events
- Ph.D. in a scientific or technology-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmacy) is a requirement.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, ensuring project alignment and execution.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and compliance is a strong advantage.
- Experience in the CDMO business, including organic chemistry, process development, analytical development, scale-up, and technology transfer, is a significant asset.
