Aufgaben
- Führen und Koordinieren technischer Aktivitäten in Ihrem Bereich.
- Erstellen technischer Dokumentationen und Projektlieferungen.
- Unterstützen Sie Prozesse zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Produkte.
Fähigkeiten
- Masterabschluss in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder Maschinenbau erforderlich.
- Mindestens fünf Jahre Erfahrung als Systems Engineer oder in einer ähnlichen Rolle.
- Kenntnisse über Projektmanagement-Techniken und -Werkzeuge.

Your mission
- Lead and coordinate technical activities within his dedicated field. List of tasks includes:
- Technical proposals, quotations, concept work and trade studies.
- Plans technical work packages, e.g. through the Design Development and Verification Plan.
- Breaks down the technical requirements to subsystems generating specifications for customer, supplier and subcontractors. Tracks the requirements compliance status
- Support in his engineering field during product development. Is the local technical authority in his field for the defined scope.
- Proactively communicates and aligns cross-functionally with the adjacent engineering fields and department outside engineering such as operations, quality, procurement and other teams.
- Support processes and product continuous improvements to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand. Propose market-oriented initiatives to improve existing products, technologies and production processes
- Write and review technical documentation, project related deliverables and other specifications related to his field of work (e.g. Test Plan). Adapt to the product- and mission-specific requirements.
- Utilize project management techniques / tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements
- Work package / Task Manager. Owns technical, budget and schedule responsibility for fulfilment of tasks assigned by projects.
- Participate in (Non Conformance Review Board) according to the NC process. Actively propose technical solutions in his field of activity. Carries out technical risk management and perform Root Cause Analysis
- Support his engineering field during negotiations and reviews with customers and suppliers or subcontractors. Is the engineering point of contact for customers.

- Build-up and maintain relevant contact with external stakeholders.
Your Story
- University master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
- Minimum five years of experience as systems engineer or equivalent lead engineer role in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. stress engineering, thermal engineering).
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- Experience with composites design and light weight sandwich structures
Nice to have’s
- Experience with IBM DOORs for requirements management is advantageous
- Knowledge of the space industry and market
