To strengthen our expertise in the polysorbate characterization team, we are looking for an experienced analytical scientist to drive client projects and contribute to the strategic development of our polysorbate characterization laboratory.

About the Position

Location: Basel, Switzerland (Rosental area)

Start Date: Now

Employment Rate: 100% (permanent position)

Your Responsibilities:

• End-to-end leading and execution of polysorbate characterization studies. 
• Support proposal writing, study design, and project management to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Conduct laboratory analyses using state-of-the-art techniques for polysorbate characterization.
• Interpret and document results, providing expert guidance to clients on mitigation strategies.
• Client and strategic partner communication, ensuring alignment with project goals
• Contribute to the strategic vision and growth of our polysorbate characterization laboratory, shaping new service offerings and technical capabilities.
• Support the particle characterization lab.

Your Profile

• BSc or MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related.
• Hands-on experience with polysorbate analysis, including degradation pathways, stability testing, and characterization techniques (e.g., LC-CAD/ELSD LC-MS, FTIR).
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with clients and internal teams.
• Experience in scientific writing, proposal development, and project management is a plus.
