Your main tasks
- Responsibility for planning and execution of human factors engineering programs according to current standards and guidelines (i.e., IEC 62366, FDA HFE Guidance, etc.)
- Contribute to the development and optimization of user interface and industrial design of our medical devices within interdisciplinary teams
- Responsible for end-to-end realization of formative and summative human factors studies
- Analysis, interpretation and documentation of findings from human factors studies and user research including recommendations for product development
- Creation and maintenance of usability engineering files for product approvals in collaboration with the project or product teams
- Consulting of product and project managers regarding regulatory requirements for human factors / usability engineering
- Attendance of congresses and monitoring of trends in the field of human factors and user experience research & design
Your profile
- Bachelor/Master (FH/University) with a focus on ergonomics/product design/psychology/usability/human factors or related fields
- At least 3 – 5 years experience in the application of usability/human factors engineering for medical devices and/or combination products (IEC 62366 as well as FDA HFE Guidance)
- Experience in international submissions in the field of medical devices and/or combination products (EU MDR, FDA, Health Canada, etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-culturally in diverse, interdisciplinary and international environments
- Experience with digital health technologies is a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
