Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Compliance and Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, a team player, and highly detail oriented. In this role, you will be responsible for managing compliance and accounting tasks while contributing to business development and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee compliance and accounting functions.
- Conduct compliance reviews and audits.
- Prepare, process, and monitor quarterly fund retrocession and management fees.
- Ensure proper onboarding of new clients and financial institutions, maintaining compliance with FINMA guidelines.
- Maintain and update client documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and implement compliance-related projects
- Support marketing efforts
- Ensure structured workflows and effective prioritization of tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Team player who contributes to a fun, positive, and collaborative work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in compliance, accounting, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Fast learner, Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.
- Experience with FINMA regulations and Swiss financial compliance is a plus.
- Fluency in English and German is a must, other languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
