Aufgaben
- Durchführung einer Doktorarbeit zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung in Gebirgen.
- Unterstützung im Lehrbetrieb des Instituts für Umweltwissenschaften.
- Forschung zu Governance, Klimawandel und regionaler Entwicklung.
Fähigkeiten
- Master in Sozial- oder Umweltwissenschaften erforderlich.
- Gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2) sind notwendig.
- Teamfähigkeit und Engagement in der Lehre.

Il s’agit d’un poste à 75% comprenant la réalisation d’une thèse de doctorat à la Faculté des Sciences de la Société (mention "Environnement et développement durable" ou " Aménagement et urbanisme"), ainsi que des fonctions d’assistanat d’enseignement au sein de l’ISE (voir cahier des charges en annexe).

La première année constitue une période d’essai au cours de laquelle il peut être mis fin aux rapports de service moyennant le respect d’un délai de résiliation de 3 mois pour la fin d’un mois.
This is a 75% position that includes the completion of a doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Social Sciences (with a focus on "Environment and Sustainable Development" or "Urban and Regional Planning"), as well as teaching assistant duties within the ISE (see the job description, attached).
Doctoral research should focus on the sustainable development of montain regions, on a local, regional or transnational scale, in the Global North, the Global South or with a comparative approach.
Themes that may lend themselves to doctoral research include:

Additional information
The doctoral student is appointed for an initial period of 2 years; the appointement is renewable for two succesive periods, respectively of 2 years and 1 year. The Position is funded by the Department of Public Instruction (DIP) and will include a teaching load of approximately 40%.
The first year serves as a probationary period during which the employment relationship can be terminated with a notice period of 3 months at the end of a month.
