We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Regulatory Chemistry Specialist in our Regulatory team to enhance and align existing historical regulatory data, as well as contribute to qualitative and consistent value-extraction from Crop Protection product chemistry in support of our digital transformation and regulatory dossier submissions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Retrieving, extracting and reviewing chemical and hazard information to determine equivalence of chemicals, while ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Assessing, acquiring and profiling different data sources to support business and data strategy.
- Promoting strategic value of chemistry data as compliance and competitive advantage.
- Coordinating with partner functions for efficient regulatory data flow.
- Understanding and documenting chemistry data landscape, data capture and data flows in collaboration with Quality, Production & Supply and IT architects.
- Leading projects related to regulatory data management / quality / governance / compliance and enhancing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participating in R&D-wide data transformation efforts by creating and managing data glossary, data catalogue, data lineage and data lake.
- Supporting Regulatory, Product Chemistry and Supply Chain teams globally by scoping / preparing / delivering regulatory notifications and documentation consistent with compliance and company standards, as well as gather and disseminate key information on regulatory requirements.
- Becoming expert user of Global Regulatory Knowledge Management Systems with respect to data entry, data searching and publishing reports.

What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field as a minimum (PhD is an advantage).
- Working experience in a regulatory environment such as Product Chemistry, Product Registration or similar department (familiarity with REACH, CLP and Safety Data Sheets is an advantage).
- Knowledge of global CP registration requirements and regulatory chemistry issues.
- Technical knowledge and experience of chemical data/metadata management principles and platforms including data quality, data governance, data catalogue, master and reference data, database models and structures, and their application (experience with SAP is an advantage).
- Proven ability to maintain effective communication within global and cross-functional teams, with a a keen active interest in process improvements.
- Fluent English skills.
