Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the internal Azure Manager to design and architect Azure solutions tailored to business requirements.
• Advise on enhancements for optimizing the current Azure environment.
• Support the creation of both high-level and detailed design documentation for Azure services.
• Aid in the implementation and configuration of Azure services, including but not limited to:
  • Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Azure Active Directory (AAD)
  • Networking (VNets, NSGs, etc.)
  • Storage Accounts
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar platforms
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Monitoring and Security tools
• Ensure that deployments adhere to best practices regarding scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Participate in migrating on-premises workloads to Azure as necessary.
• Provide continuous support for the Azure environment, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Monitor Azure services and resources to guarantee optimal performance and availability.
• Assist in the formulation and execution of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for the internal team as required.
• Engage in regular meetings with the internal Azure Manager and relevant stakeholders to assess progress, address challenges, and plan future actions.
• Document all activities undertaken, including configurations, changes, and resolutions, while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base.
• Provide frequent status reports and updates to the internal Azure Manager.
• Create high-level and detailed design documents for Azure solutions.
• Handle the configuration and implementation of Azure services as specified in the scope of work.
• Document all completed work, including any configurations and modifications.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with the internal team.
• Submit regular status reports and updates.

• Proven experience in designing and managing Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Solid understanding of networking and security concepts in the Azure environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
