We are looking for a systems integration engineer who is passionate about getting real systems to work reliably at scale. You will join the Truck Systems team to play an important role in deploying a rapidly growing fleet of autonomous trucks for private grounds, using Embotech's autonomous driving software and hardware components from external suppliers. Your role will involve both component development and full system design, integration and testing on test setups and on our vehicles. Responsibilities
Requirements
- Hardware-software integration. - MSc in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical or
- Automated software deployment. electrical engineering or similar.
- Development of diagnostic software, drivers
- Experience with real-world deployments. and hardware-close software.
- Define hardware requirements and manage
- Experience with at least 3 of the following: external suppliers. o V&V.
- Development of HIL and SIL testing methods o Robotics algorithms and communication and test automation. protocols.
- Contributing to system definition, o Mechanical and electrical design. configuration and verification through o Networking and Linux development. simulation and real-world testing
- Log data analysis and on-site problem solving. -
Self-driven team player with hands-on - Cooperation with software engineers and mentality. controls engineers to deliver a well-integrated full autonomous driving stack. - Fluency in spoken and written English. - Travel to customers or own testing areas as required.
