The Opportunity
As a Data Engineer, you will join the Product Engineering BiMOS team. Based in Lenzburg, Switzerland, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our high-power semiconductor production, research & development, and IT departments. Your responsibility will include defining and developing advanced process control for our semiconductor production, from frontend to backend.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Develop and implement strategies for utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) in frontend semiconductor production

Lead the implementation of new SPC software, overseeing the process from specification to deployment and visualization in production

Maintain and enhance existing SPC and FDC databases and programs, ensuring data accessibility for other engineers

Drive and manage improvement projects leveraging SPC and FDC data, and conduct training sessions

Create and modify routers for new or updated products within our MES system
Your Background

Master's degree in physics, production engineering, data engineering, or a related field

Proven experience in applying SPC and FDC within a production environment

Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or similar

Experience with software solutions including Access and SAP

Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis

Ability to thrive in an international environment with excellent communication skills

Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken (level B2/C1)
