Weprovideanalytical services in Health Sciences, including structural analysis of biologics (proteins, glycoproteins and carbohydrates), their quantification and various chemical studies.
Job Description
Enhance SGS’s presence in the Health Science Drug market by generating sales leads, driving revenue through prospecting, acquiring, developing and expanding business leads to achieve short- and long-term revenue and profit growth.
- Prospect new customers and develop new opportunities with existing clients
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Promote the Company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Lead important new/strategic projects and act as the reference person
- Establish, monitor and coordinate timely action plans, taking into consideration positive and negative deviations from target
- Lead the process to establish a mid-term strategy and a yearly budget focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Represent the SGS Health Sciences R&D/QC in conventions, exhibitions, professional associations (etc.)
- Collaborate with other SGS sites and with the Global Health Science Drug development team to develop a growth strategy
The candidate’s main objective is to:
- Sell Health Science Drug services utilizing the strength of the business infrastructure and resources
- Enhance business’s presence and market share by managing the existing and new clients
- To sell and lead the roll out of new products developed by the business
Qualifications
- Bsc/Msc diploma or equivalent in a science discipline (e.g. analytical chemistry, biochemistry).
- Basic knowledge of the activities of a GMP contract service lab and/or the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry.
- Good understanding of the analytical testing services required throughout the entire drug development lifecycle, from preclinical stages to commercial release would be a plus.
- About 5 years sales experience in the Health Science Industry.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.
- Proven sales track record.
- Market knowledge.
- Fluent in spoken and written French and English.
