The Financial Accountant works within a team alongside other finance members. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller Supervisor, the Financial Accountant is responsible for managing accounts payable, overseeing various payment platforms, and ensuring the maintenance of high accounting standards.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage the distribution, recording and balance management of cash for business expenses.
- Handle the processing and precise recording of supplier invoices.
- Responsible for proper preparation and timely execution of payment runs.
- Manage various payment platforms.
- Oversee the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Contribute to the financial reconciliation of accounts and make necessary adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Business Economics, or Quantitative Finance, or a Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance and Accounting.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong proficiency in accounting and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Experience in Abacus Accounting Software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of Swiss accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Fluency in English (C1); German language skills are an asset.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and a service-minded attitude.
