Sustainable Source to Pay Specialist - Core Business Services in Zürich (70-100%)

In this role, you will be part of our Core Business Services in the Finance division and directly report to the Finance Director. You are contributing to the general source to pay process, including supplier negotiations and program management for improvements to realized efficiencies. You are playing a pivotal role in ensuring our source to pay processes align with sustainability standards and regulatory requirements. As an ideal candidate, you'll be responsible for managing the local supplier due diligence program, conducting ESG risk assessments, and staying abreast of upcoming regulations.

Your key responsibilities

• Co-own the conceptualization and realization of a new, local buying organisation and its integration into the global procurement framework

• Coordinate local purchasing requests and negotiate successfully with suppliers

• Manage realization and fulfillment of corporate sustainability requirements for EY Switzerland as per upcoming regulations (CSRD, CS3D, Swiss Code of Obligation, etc.), such as: the local supplier due diligence program; comprehensive assessment and mitigation of ESG risks associated with the supplier base

• Perform operational tasks to support employees in the procurement process

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of procurement strategies, initiatives and processes

• Deliver business training and monitor process execution

• Enhance transparency of the source to pay process by developing / managing applicable KPIs and reportings, such as sustainability reporting (GRI) and rating (EcoVadis)

What we look for

• Bachelor's degree/HF in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or similar

• 3-5 years of in-depth experience in procurement and SAP. Knowledge of procurement concepts and procurement technology (i.e. Ariba)

• Preferably buying and negotiation experience in the following categories: Events, Travel, Technology or Facilities

• Expert knowledge in the source to pay processes

• Solid knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and regulatory requirements. Keen interest in sustainability initiatives and knowledge acquisition

• Track record in managing supplier due diligence programs and conducting ESG risk- and impact assessments

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments

• Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies

Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
