to strengthen our international marketing team and to support the Manager Team Leader Digital with creative marketing communication developments at our headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
In your day-to-day work, you will be working closely with a fellow videographer, our brand managers, designers and other key stakeholders. You will not only be contributing to our ambitious digital transformation roadmap but also drive and implement the company's global digital strategy and vision with execution against the objectives set by the global marketing division and transform marketing campaigns into tailored content in state-of-the-art quality. We are seeking a highly motivated team member to support and accelerate digital consumer engagement strategies and significant long-term growth for our brand portfolio of premium cigars and accessories.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working independently to produce brand, product and corporate videos by shooting and editing with reviews at critical points. Being agile and willing to revise and improve content on an ongoing basis
- Animating, designing, and illustrating compelling motion graphics for web and social media audiences
- Working closely with the brand management team, fellow videographer and Social Media manager on video style, strategy and storyboarding
- Finding creative solutions to shooting videos in a highly regulated environment while still being able to produce professional content with a unique and luxurious appeal adhering to campaign concepts
- Ensuring all filming equipment is ready and in proper working order
- Preparing social media graphic assets (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) for various desktops and mobile devices
- Uploading and organising assets in the digital asset management system according to guidelines
- Contributing to an interdisciplinary team of designers, business and brand strategists, ensuring that design specifications are implemented globally
- Staying up-to-date and generating new ideas to draw audience's attention
QUALIFICATIONS
You are an expert in video and motion graphic production and have a record of profound work experience with After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop as a plus. In your daily work, you are flexible, pragmatic, analytic, hands-on, and above all, result-focused. You are a motivated, highly organised, conscientious team player who performs well under pressure and who shows a genuine interest in premium products. Additionally, you can offer:
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline or completed apprenticeship, advanced training or experience in audio-visual communication
- 3+ years in-depth design experience of pictures, with an emphasis on motion graphics and video editing/creation for B2B and B2C applications, preferably e-commerce, e-learning, rich web apps/sites, mobile devices
- Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of social media platforms
- Strong ability to quickly grasp brand strategies, -identities and -visual appearances being able to translate them into clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end
- Ability to manage constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Work experience in a cross-functional team
- A keen eye for aesthetics, details and accuracy
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German is highly desirable, French is a plus
- A background in working within a highly regulated environment with a sensitivity to comply with data protection regulations is a plus
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates creative video and graphic design skills and thinking
