Swisslinx is partnering with a prominent player in the food sector to find a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FPnA) to join the local team based in Zurich.
As an FPnA Director you would play a crucial role in leading a team of professional FPnA Specialists and take ownership of all related processes for the Western Europe region. Additionally, you would take an active part in process transformation and digitalization of finance processes globally.
Your responsibilities:
* Lead the Western European FPnA team (3 FTE) to deliver financial analyses and management reports that inform regional strategy and support pricing decisions
* Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes while establishing KPIs with senior leadership teams
* Oversee margin reconciliation and address financial inquiries from management
* Develop standardized reporting formats for timely insights
* Drive initiatives to enhance working capital performance
* Streamline processes with Data Analytics and stay informed on industry trends
* Liaise closely with commercial teams and translate financial requirements into business requirements for respective teams
Your profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior finance positions related to FPnA
* Previous experience in liaising with commercial functions i.e., Sales and Marketing
* Willingness to travel up to 10% to attend regional meetings
* Proven leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
* Proficient in SAP, BW, and knowledgeable about IFRS
* Fluency in English
