ROLE DESCRIPTION
• The Associate Land Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Land Operations Department (LOD) team in various activities.
• The Associate Land Operations Manager will report to the Director Land Operations.
• This role is based in our Operational Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General tasks
• Support of the Land Operations team when needed
• Temporary replacement of SPM/SCM team member when needed
• Responsible for the LOD LMS (Learning Management System) platform
• Managing and creating of distribution lists in Outlook
• Organizing/setting up meetings in-house or external (meeting location, travel arrangements)
• Assisting with special events (such as ship naming ceremonies, film crew)
• Setting up order overview for Quietvox and making sure all Cost and/or Product Managers set up overview for pre- & post-extensions
Ordering of Uniforms
• Setting up uniform orders
• Continuously processing orders throughout the year
• Creating nametags
Ordering of LOD related items
• Luggage tags, lollipops, bus signs, etc.
• City Maps
• Metro Maps
• Coordination between in-house (other departments) and external partners
LOD Trainings
• Sending out invitations to vendors and following up according to deadlines
• Managing training overview
• Managing training calendar
• Managing overview participants list
• Managing the LOD LMS (Learning Management System) platform
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Fluency in English, both in written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills
• Background in the upscale cruise industry is preferred
• Strong IT skills, especially in MS Office (Power Point, Excel), experience with MXP would be an asset
• Ability to work independently and service-oriented
• Positive personality, professional appearance, stress resistant
• A self-starter with a can-do mindset, with complete attention to detail
