VSHN, pronounced like “vision,” specializes in supporting software development teams to make their work testable, deployable, scalable, and operable in any cloud environment, with a focus on efficiency and automation. We achieve this by providing self-service platform products like APPUiO and Application Catalog to developers and also by leveraging that to build custom solutions that ease the development and deployment cycle, sharing application operations responsibility through close collaboration with developers.
Your new role: Kubernetes DevOps Engineer
As a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer in our OpenShift Platform Team at VSHN, your primary function is to engineer and maintain our OpenShift product and running clusters. You will be responsible for requirements engineering, building new services, and maintaining and enhancing existing services. The daily operations of the team include reacting to incidents and customer tickets related to our OpenShift services. This involves debugging, customer communication, implementing workarounds, and ensuring follow-up to address the underlying root cause. Outside Swiss office hours, this continues through our follow-the-sun location in Canada and our On-Call organization.
