RRP Sourcing Sustainability Manager
Position Purpose:
You will play a critical role in driving our company's commitment to sustainability by identifying and implementing solutions to ensure responsible sourcing and manufacturing of our electronic devices, fostering trustful relationships with our suppliers, and ensuring adherence to our sustainability goals. This includes good knowledge and understanding of Environmental and Social responsibility across the world for Reduced-Risk Products devices and Refills (Cartomizers) produced by third-party manufacturers.
What will you do – responsibilities:
- Work closely with RRP Sourcing teams and JTG’s suppliers to support the implementation of the Sustainability Strategy for the RRP supply chain
- Drive the implementation of sustainability strategy aligned with business focus areas ensuring maintaining close communication with internal and external business partners
- Ensure proper education and awareness for internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth implementation of sustainability strategy and build strong relationships to ensure their timely support to JTG RRP sustainability activities
- Represent the RRP Sourcing Team to our internal and external business partners in the supply chain
- Monitor trends and best practices, as well as participate in conferences and presentations
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- 3-5 years of work experience in the Environmental side of sustainability, Life Cycle Assessment, GHG emissions’ estimates and management, environmental due diligence of electronics goods or consumer goods manufacturing
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Environmental, International development, Social Studies, Sustainability, Supply chain, or other relevant degree
- English language for effective verbal and written communication, Japanese/Chinese are a strategic advantages
- Demonstrable knowledge and proven experience in existing and evolving ESG concepts and practices across electronics products and relevant raw materials, including industry certifications, standards and regulations
- Strong project management skills and stakeholder management experience and outstanding communication skills
