The Section comprises specialists in computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, terminology databases, translation memories and other cutting-edge technologies such as speech-to-text conversion and neural machine translation used for specific client requests.</p><p></p><p><b>General Functions </b></p><p></p><p>Reporting to the Chief of the Language Technology Section, the incumbent is responsible for the following:</p><p></p><p>1. Act as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyse, capture, and validate requirements for changes to language services and information systems.</p><p></p><p>2. Manage the implementation of processes and services, contributing to their smooth running within the section, and by engaging with all internal and external stakeholders.</p><p></p><p>3. Lead or contribute to change management and training activities related to the language services, in the context of the new Document Management System being developed inhouse. </p><p></p><p>4. Analyse and implement integrations of new tools with the language services and liaise with the IT Division as appropriate.</p><p></p><p>5. Develop effective working relationships with the translation and other language services workflow stakeholders to assist in the delivery of projects, ensuring business continuity.</p><p></p><p>6. Work closely with the Chief of Section to improve automations and translation processes flow. </p><p></p><p>7.
