How You Will Make an Impact

  • Align R&D Processes with Business Objectives: Lead efforts to align R&D processes with business objectives, enhancing our technology leadership and resolving key technical challenges

  • Collaborate Globally: Work with global partners and various stakeholders to drive market-oriented projects and long-term technology advancements, playing a crucial role in our innovation journey

  • Shape Technology Roadmaps: Execute and refine R&D strategies, actively shaping technology roadmaps that elevate our product line's competitiveness and fuel innovation

  • Oversee R&D Projects: Empower R&D project managers to deliver outstanding results that meet quality standards, budget, and deadlines, ensuring impactful project execution

  • Facilitate Knowledge Transfer: Promote the transfer of knowledge and best practices across the organization, significantly contributing to the continuous learning and development of our teams

  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, enhancing the visibility and influence of our product line on a global scale

  • Intellectual Property Protection: Develop and implement strategies for intellectual property protection, managing risks and aligning with corporate guidelines
     

Your background

  • Education: A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Technology Management or a related field is required, with significant experience working with transformers

  • Experience: [5+] years of experience in R&D, product management, or technology leadership roles within an engineering or manufacturing environment

  • Context: Strong understanding of engineering principles, R&D processes, and technology development practices, along with experience in managing complex projects.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Innovation: Visionary mindset to cultivate a culture of innovation, leveraging design thinking to inspire transformative solutions.

  • IP: Expertise in navigating Intellectual Property landscapes and implementing proactive risk management strategies.

  • Decision-Making: Ability to evaluate a multitude of projects and situations with critical thinking  and quickly make informed decisions

  • Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills such as leading R&D teams or large project teams.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% globally
