What's the role?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Mining Team in Perth! Your next role as an Project Account Manager at Hilti will see you having direct customer contact, creation and development of customers combined with implementation of sales strategies, introduction of new products to customers and new markets.
If you are self-motivated, diligent and thrive on supporting existing customers and have the drive to captivate and capture new customer partners, this is the role for you!
What does the role involve?
As our Project Account Manager, you will develop strong relationships with the decision makers to assure a high degree of success in Hilti Product Specifications through providing technical support for Hilti products. This support function includes but is not limited to, design solutions, bill of materials, estimation and submittals for all Hilti engineered products and convert opportunities into sales.
General duties include:
- Conversion of the existing specifications into sales
- Identifying new opportunities - i.e. additional applications
- On site demonstrations for Hilti Solutions, such as power tools, anchors, fastening and steel applications
What you need is:
- A valid Australian drivers license
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience as Key Account Manager, Sales Representative or Sales Consultant are a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills and effective problem solving ability
- Tech savvy and experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is desirable
- Solution selling and customer centric approach to sales
- Self-starter capable of working independently, managing your own call cycle
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with advanced planning skills
