MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DUTIES
- Constantly generate ideas for OTC product opportunities in close cooperation with country organization counterparts and evaluate feasibility involving all key company stakeholders
- Build, refresh and follow company new products long range plan in close cooperation with country organizations and all involved stakeholders
- Evaluate OTC project ideas in line with Zentiva OTC strategy
- Define right sourcing according to internal R&D and manufacturing capabilities
- Set OTC project targets and coordinate internal processes for product evaluation, selection and partner with all involved parties on project execution leading to successful launch on defined targets
- Set OTC project targets and monitor on-going development and in-licensing projects. In cooperation with Business Development and other departments, ensure that our products reach all markets in a timely manner with the right go to market approach and competitive COGs.
- Evaluate options to extend available dossiers to new geographies. Support of the regions to start and plan customization projects.
- Be part of the R&D budget preparation and create a development project prioritization to follow company R&D and New products strategy
- Prepare OTC project strategy with validated P&L and present to Zentiva senior management for approval
- Support Zentiva senior management with creating company business strategies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- University Degree in Natural Sciences, Business or Economics
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Business excellence, Brand & product management, Consumer healthcare Marketing, OTC Development, Portfolio Management, Business Development)
- English, and preferably one more foreign language
- Good knowledge of the consumer healthcare market, its products, life cycle management, trends and go to market strategies
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Strong analytical skills, experience in consumer healthcare marketing is a plus
- Strong negotiation, presentation and argumentative skills
- Strong process management skills
- Understanding for commercial requirements and financial evaluations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external customers
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
